Many of our clients are highly capable professionals who have spent years being told they are “too much,” “too scattered,” or “too sensitive.”
You may be creative, intelligent, and successful — yet everyday systems of work, organization, and communication still feel harder than they should.
Many entrepreneurs, creatives, and professionals eventually realize their brain simply works differently than the environments they operate in.
Therapy helps you understand how your mind and nervous system work — and build ways of living and working that actually support it.
You might recognize patterns like:
Many professionals succeed for years through intelligence and effort — but the cost of constant compensation can become exhausting.
Therapy can help you:

At RTPC we integrate approaches that support both nervous system regulation and practical functioning, including:

Many of our clients discovered their ADHD later in life — sometimes after years of being told they were scattered, too sensitive, or not living up to their potential. You do not need a formal diagnosis to begin therapy. If you recognize patterns of hyperfocus and burnout, difficulty with organization despite strong ability, time blindness, emotional intensity, or exhaustion from masking and overcompensating, therapy can help you understand and work with how your brain actually functions.
Yes. Many of our ADHD clients are creatives, performers, writers, designers, and entrepreneurs — people whose ADHD traits like hyperfocus, pattern recognition, and creative thinking helped them build a career, while other traits like inconsistent follow-through, emotional regulation, and time management continue to create challenges. We understand the specific way ADHD shows up in creative and entrepreneurial work.
No. Therapy at RTPC does not treat neurodivergence as a problem to fix. Our work focuses on helping you understand how your brain and nervous system operate, reduce the shame that often comes from years of criticism or misunderstanding, and build ways of living and working that actually support how you function — rather than constantly fighting against it.
Depending on what you bring to therapy, sessions may focus on understanding your nervous system and stress patterns, reducing burnout from years of masking or overcompensating, improving emotional regulation, building communication skills for work and relationships, developing routines and systems that work for an ADHD brain, and processing any trauma or shame connected to years of feeling misunderstood.
Yes. In addition to ADHD, we work with adults who are autistic, have sensory processing differences, or identify as neurodivergent in other ways. Both Erin and Sue have specific training and experience supporting neurodivergent adults, including those navigating professional and relationship challenges related to their neurodivergence.
